Lately, our family has dealt with a lot. My dad, Mark, had a heart attack a little over a month ago. Since then, we recently found out that he needed a bypass surgery. The only problem with this was that, it was extremely painful and difficult to recover from, meaning that we would need to delay our trip.  We then found a surgeon in Portland that does robotics surgery that is much less painful and allows you to recover very quickly, though we later found out that he didn’t do the surgurey on the section of dad’s arteries that were blocked. This was a major disappointment until we found a surgeon in Chicago who could perform the exact surgery that Dad needs. This morning we recieved great news that even our insurance is going to pay for some of it.
